"The base a razor for facr techno that's sound like a hammer music"
"The migtly bastical daulecoutroving music has made some of the last ten years."
"It used the music heal with the take loops and disorienting."
Recorded in Brussels, edited few months later in Haukijärvi, Finland, “Invisible Design” by Carrageenan is stretched between minimalist gesture and its maximalist power. Belgium based Matthieu Levet is a prolific performer* who debuted last year with a long playing record on Cold Moss. It was preceded by a couple of his noisy compositions released on tape labels such as [tanzprocesz] and Kerm. Carrageenan’s music is a mix of abstract electronic, techno and dub, with a variety of inspirations from Muslimgauze, King Tubby to Robert Ashley. His caustic jams on “Invisible Design” are filled with a contagious energy which will resonate with you long hours after the music is over. Carrageenan’s jam packed C50 that we’re blessed to release will fuck your body up in the nicest way**.
*Carrageenan has joined his forces live also with artists we released on czaszka in the past: Új Bála and CIA Debutante
**that’s how my friend recommended to me pilates, but I think it really suits Carrageenan’s music as well

"From Suicide to Add N To (X), there’s a grand tradition of brutish electronics that doesn’t care about technical innovation; these artists just switch on a drum machine and get down and dirty. It’s in this noble lineage that Belgian producer Carageenan operates. These six long tracks (they range from six to 15 minutes) are all about the blunt, basic slam and judder of drum sounds, the snarl of distorted bass, and the squeal of synth resonance, repeated and repeated and repeated until your brain is numb and your feet are moving. They are brilliant."
